Funds

Donations may go towards a specific project, a special interest fund, or to the general fund.

Project Funds

Once Project Grants have been approved by the Board, those projects will be added. Currently, our flagship project is the Veterans Memorial.

• LCCF Project Fund: Lake Cherokee Veterans Memorial

  • Gala Tickets $100 each (see above special link)

  • Wall of Honor Engraved Veteran Name $300 each. Use Donate button below.

  • Construction. Money will be used to complete the Memorial

  • Events. Money will go towards future events (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Veterans Day)

Special Interest Funds

LCCF is currently developing these special interest funds. Money donated will be used on as-needed basis. For example,

• LCCF Emergency Fund:

  • In development. The Emergency Fund would aid Lake Residents or areas around the lake that have been impacted by disaster or health emergency.

• LCCF Educational Fund:

• LCCF Scholarship Fund:

  • In development. A scholarship would be distributed for environmental management students and may include possible intern opportunities with CWC.

• LCCF Environmental Fund:

  • In development. Money would go towards environmental needs around the lake. For example, purchasing land to be maintained as a “green space” for future generations.

General Fund

LCCF, founded in 2024, is in its infancy. Donations to this fund will help pay for non-profit set-up fees, new account fees (PO Box, financial software), website management, logo design, marketing & promotion. While these activities are not as sexy as specific projects, they are necessary to managing the non-profit. LCCF does not employ anyone. All work for LCCF is done by volunteers who receive no compensation for their time.
